Where do I find the map?

Select either the Halloween or Christmas tab at the top of the website, then click Map to view the latest display map.

When do the maps go live?

The Halloween map is typically published around October 1, and the Christmas map goes live around Thanksgiving. New displays are added throughout the season as they are verified.

How do I get a display on the map?

It's easy! Just email admin@phillipslincolnlights.com with the display's address. If possible, include a photo to help us identify it. You can also submit a display using the Contact Us form on the website (please note that photos cannot be uploaded through the form).

Every submission is reviewed before being added to the map.

How do you decide which displays are added to the map?

Every display submission is personally reviewed before being added to the map. While I'd love to include every display, doing so would make the map too crowded and less useful for everyone.

Displays are selected based on several factors, including their size, theme, location, and recommendations from the community. I also try to make sure every area of Lincoln has displays represented whenever possible.

Community recommendations mean a lot to me, so if a display is frequently recommended, there's a good chance it will be added.

Even if a display isn't featured on the map, I still encourage you to share it in the Facebook group so others can discover and enjoy it.

Can I request my display be removed?

Absolutely. Just email admin@phillipslincolnlights.com, and your display will be removed as soon as possible.

How often is the map updated?

The map is updated throughout the Halloween and Christmas seasons as new displays are submitted and verified.

How does the map work?

The map works best on a mobile device using the Google Maps app.

Simply select either the Halloween or Christmas tab, then open the Map. You'll see your current location along with markers for verified displays throughout the area.

Many markers include photos to help you identify the display before visiting. If you see a music icon, the display features music. If an FM radio station is listed, tune your vehicle's radio to that station. Otherwise, the music is played through outdoor speakers.

How do I get turn-by-turn navigation?

Google Maps doesn't currently support full turn-by-turn navigation for shared maps.

You can tap any display marker and select Directions to navigate directly to that location. If Google Maps exits the shared map after navigation, simply reopen the map from the website.

What if I want directions to a specific display that I see a photo for?

If you're browsing photos on the site and you find a display you'd like to visit, simply click on the photo. It will open that display's address in Google Maps, allowing you to get directions immediately.

What are the routes?

Driving Routes are suggested trips that make it easier to enjoy multiple displays in one outing. Routes may feature some of the city's biggest displays, displays in a specific area, or displays with a common theme.

Routes can be found under the Halloween or Christmas tab. When opened on a mobile device, they provide turn-by-turn navigation through Google Maps.
